My window handle broke off when I was trying to close the window. It's made of metal but it just broke into half. I'm posting this photo as a testament to HDB's lousy quality window handles. Thankfully the contractor I called managed to find a replacement.

Hey Justin, I searched my drawers but I think I've thrown away the guy's namecard. He's actually a contractor of an HDB supplier. I called town council and they referred me to this vendor. Then called that vendor and he told me he'd send down this guy to do. When this guy came, he checked then went out to buy the handle. Came back to fix it and then told me he actually doesn't do this as a job so don't really charge. But the handle is like $6 I think. So I gave him $20 for his time. :)
